A local restaurant is offering free meals to those without a home to have Christmas dinner in this year.

Compassion for those less fortunate is what motivated Sulainder Singh, owner of Quesada Burrito and Tacos in Okotoks to open his restaurant to the homeless on Christmas Day.

"We feel that to feed the people would be a good comeback and they need our help and we are always here for them." said Sulainder.

"Just to help the community and the people and so nobody should leave hungry on Christmas Day."

Sulainder says the doors are open and people can just come in.

"We will be doing the free food for the homeless people on Christmas Day, from 2 to 4 o'clock." said Sulainder.

This is the first time Quesada Burrito and Taco in Okotoks has offered free food to the homeless and Sulainder says they want to be sure everyone has something to eat on Christmas.
