Residents of Okotoks may recognize 4-year-old Kolten Davis from his ride with the Bikers Are Buddies crew in early August.

He is riding all over town in hopes to bring awareness to the Great Canadian Cycle Challenge.

The campaign's main goal is to bring hope and cheer to locals, but they've also managed to raise over $17,000 as a team for children's cancer with Kolten and Keegan alone raising nearly $7,000.

Now, Kolten and his younger brother Keegan have been making big waves across North America.

They were featured in Times Square, New York City!

The billboard came to them as a surprise says their mother Tasha Davis.

"One of the people who run the foundation. They messaged me and they asked for a photo that I had previously shared of Kolten and Keegan. Then I get a message from them and they ask how tall are the boys and I'm like ‘I don't know, I have to tell you when I get back to the house’ and they go, ‘Well, how tall do you think they would be on a 35-foot billboard?’”

Their team, named “Rip’n Donuts” have raised just under $18,000 so far and have put on over 1,300 km. They currently rank 17th in Canada for money raised and kilometres ridden.

"I just told them that there is a sign with their faces on it that is the size of our house and they think that's pretty cool, but they don't understand yet what it truly does mean."

They will be at the Okotoks Rec Center Sunday, August 29, for superhero training sessions from Batman and Theo Fleury.
