The Town of Okotoks has provided an update after the provincial government's latest changes to public health measures.

With the Restrictions Exemption Program (REP) coming to an end in Alberta, the town has followed suit.

No town facilities will be requiring proof of vaccination or negative tests for entry, though masks will still be required in indoor public spaces.

Larger venues such as the recreation centre and Pason Centennial Arenas will still have 50 per cent capacity limits in place.

Food and drink will be permitted in those venues, though only while seated.

Liquor sales are still prohibited after 11 p.m.

Venues that were not operating under the REP (the Okotoks Municipal Centre, Okotoks Art Gallery, museum, eco centre, Rotary Performing Arts Centre, etc) will no longer have limits on their capacity.

The town's full statement can be seen on their website.
