Alberta Farm Animal Care's 2016 Livestock Care Conference is just around the corner with a great line-up of speakers.

Curt Pate will be teaching techniques to put the proper pressure on sheep at different angles and at varying amounts that will help move them comfortably and without bad experiences.

Dr. Jennifer Walker will be speaking on politics, policy, profit and people come together on the issue of consumer confidence.

And Brenda Shoepp will talk about how positive or poor animal welfare interconnects with human welfare and what we can do about it.

The conference is set for March 22 and 23 in Olds.

The Sheep Handling/ Body Condition Scoring Demo will take place on the Olds College Campus and the rest of the onference will take place at the Pomeroy Inn & Suites.
