Learning something is so much better when there is a little bit of music involved.

Will Stroet, an award-winning musician and star of Will's Jams on CBC, is touring with his Backyard Band and making a stop in Okotoks.

Stroet uses his background as an elementary school teacher in his musical act aimed at young children in pre-school an primary school.

The show involves sing-a-longs and encourages kids to get up and dance—all while learning about safety, healthy living, and much more.

The Rotary Performing Arts Centre is hosting two shows on Sat. Jan. 23 at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.
