Some High River residents have been waking up to the tires on their vehicle's being slashed.

RCMP say over the past week numerous complaints have been called in of tires being slashed and in some cases vehicles being keyed.   

The incidents appear to have happened during nighttime hours in various parts of town.  

Community members are being urged to report any suspicious activity when they are occurring if possible.  

There are police officers working 24 hours a day to receive complaints and they're happy to respond to concerns or check out suspicious activities.

Those reports allow officers to know where they should be directing their efforts.
