High River's nominations are now final.

Two men have let their names stand for the mayor's chair, incumbent Craig Snodgrass and Jeff Langford.

There are 14 people running for the six available seats on council with only a pair of incumbents looking to return to the council table.

There's a municipal referendum question on the ballot, asking voters if the town should borrow $15-million to expand the current pool facility at the Rec-Plex.

And there are also two provincial referendum questions on the ballot regarding adopting year-round Daylight Saving Time and getting rid of Equalization Payments.

The election is on October 18, 2021.
