If the first two home sales are any indication, the Town of High River should do pretty well.

The town is auctioning off 14 homes it bought back from the province, which have sat empty since the 2013 flood.

The first home at 626 High View Park had a starting bid of $217,660 but ended up going for $267,777 bringing in five bids.

The second home at 400 Riverside Drive was listed at $332,860 and sold for $414,000 with three bids.

Both sales are pending final details.

Two homes, one townhome and one single detached home are being put up for auction and bidders have two weeks to get their bids in.
