It was the perfect weather to be out at Granary Road on Victoria Day!

The Active Learning Park was open for children of all ages to enjoy the three kilometers of trails connecting eleven different fun and education exhibits! Each stop contains either an agricultural, insect or animal theme with an interactive learning component.

The drum circle was a great hit with kids of all ages as they learned new beats with help from Circles of Rhythm, a drumming community dedicated to team building. Along with drumming, the Irish dancers were one of the great hits of the afternoon! Kids from ages of around 6 to 10 displayed their talents for proud parents to observe

Furthermore, the animals at the petting zoo also seemed to be having a great time! Many of them were eager to be photographed and happy to play with the kids.

Finally, many of the vendors in the Public Market seemed to be thriving! All in all, it was wonderful to see parents getting their kids involved in educational outdoor activities while also having fun themselves!
