A couple of well-known locals are going to be inducted into the Canadian Stunt Hall of Fame.

The Hall has named its inaugural round of 16 inductees.

They include Tom Glass, probably best known for subbing in for Bob Barker and beating up Adam Sandler in the movie Happy Gilmore, and John Scott, animal wrangler in a multitude of films starting with Legends of the Fall.

Other inductees are John (Frenchie) Berger, Celine Fournier, Charles Fournier, Marcel Fournier, Alex Green, Robert (Bobby) Hannah, Dwayne McLean, David Rigby, Jacob Rupp, Jerome Thibergien, Betty Thomas, John Thomas, John Wardlow, and Keith Wardlow.

CANSHOF formally pays tribute to the groundbreaking work and dedication of Canada’s stunt professionals.
