Thousands and thousands of people attended the 31st annual Light Up Okotoks last night (Nov. 17).
Festivities began at 5:30 p.m., with entertainment happening on the main stage. The lighting of the big tree happened in the Old Towne Plaza at 7, with the Pronk family having been selected to flip the switch.
There were wagon rides, fire pits, live music, outdoor shopping, and other entertainment.
The RCMP were back for the Cram-a-Cruiser drive, where they were collecting money and non-perishables for the food bank. There was also the Christmas Charity Truck collecting toys and money for local children's charities.
As always, the night finished off with a special fireworks display from Lineham Park.
