Another case of COVID-19 at a local school.

This time it’s Spitzee Elementary School in High River.

The Foothills School Division says it involves a single individual, with confirmation of a positive diagnosis coming Saturday, November 28.

They say the person involved was last at the school on Tuesday, November 24.

As always, no information on the person’s identity will be released because of privacy issues.

The Division, along with Public Health continue to investigate and inform those who may have been in contact with the infected individual.

The school remains open and the Division is working closely with Alberta Health Services to ensure the necessary measures are in place to protect all students and staff.
