The WHL's Medicine Hat Tigers have a new voice behind the mic.

The team has announced that Gino De Paoli will call their games starting this season.

De Paoli had been the play-by-play voice of the Okotoks Oilers of the AJHL for the 10 years and announced earlier this week he was moving on.

The Tigers made the announcement Friday Sept 16 that he'll be taking over for legendary broadcaster Bob Ridley, who had called their games for the last 52 years before deciding to retire.
