A Foothills County man faces charges after two separate investigations into historical offences involving children.

45-year-old Matthew Wade Kinch of Foothills County was charged in June 2021 with three counts of sexual assault, two counts of sexual interference and two counts of failing to comply with a release order.

Kinch's matters are currently before the courts and he is scheduled to appear in Turner Valley Provincial Court on Jan. 17, 2023.

The investigation leads RCMP to believe that there may be more victims and are asking the public to come forward with any similar type incidents.

Matthew Kinch is described as 5'6'', 174 pounds, slender build, brown hair, brown eyes and a light complexion.

In the event he may have used an alias, Alberta RCMP are distributing a photograph of Kinch.

Anyone with any information that relates to this investigation is asked to contact Turner Valley RCMP at 403-933-6600 or your local police.
