The Foothills County man who was fatally stabbed in Banff last weekend has been identified.
27-year-old Ryden William Brogden has been identified as the victim of the fatal assault.
John Proule, a 20-year-old from Lake Country, British Columbia has been charged with second-degree murder.
The Alberta RCMP Major Crimes Division has taken over the investigation.
There's also been a GoFundMe page created in his honour to support a not-for-profit fly fishing apparel company FlyCo, to feed and rescue dogs and cats, which he did and always wanted to expand on.
