Foothills County is notifying residents of a positive COVID-19 case that was recently confirmed among a member of staff.

The individual, who works in the Foothills County Administration Building in High River, tested positive on November 29th.

All of their close contacts are being notified, as per AHS protocol.

The county is also enacting several enhanced safety precautions, including extra cleaning and sanitization within the building, increased space between employees, and allowing employees to work from home.

All departments remain in operation, minus the Foothills Building Codes Department, which was previously closed in accordance with the most recent public health measures, though residents are encouraged to contact the county by phone or email if they're in need of assistance.
