The High River Flyers playoff season is already over.

They lost two games to none in the best-of-three round one series against the Strathmore Wheatland Kings.

Prior to the series starting last Tuesday both teams were evenly matched having met up five times in the regular season with High River coming away with two wins.

However, it wasn't the same in the playoffs as the Wheatland Kings took game one 5-1 on Tuesday and then wrapped it up on Friday night 6-2 in High River.

Strathmore now move on to tackle the seemingly unstoppable Okotoks Bisons in a best-of-seven second round series.

The Bisons finished the regular season with a 33-2-1 record.

Game one goes tomorrow night at 8:30 p.m. in Okotoks.
