The High River Flyers of the Heritage Junior "B" Hockey League are looking for some financial help.

Team president Tim Bradbury says the teams already sponsored by the High River Brewing Company and they're willing to kick in another $10,000 for rink board advertising.

However, the Town's policy doesn't allow for alcohol ads on town-owned buildings.

"I know the Town are looking at having a separate meeting regarding the policy around advertising so hopefully that'll be ironed out and advertising in the rink will be in place.

He told council it costs about $140,000 to keep the team on the ice each year so he hopes they'll be able to take advantage of the brewery's generosity during the upcoming season.
