The Calgary Flames and the NHL announced their regular season schedule Thursday morning.

The Flames open the season with a home and home battle against the Vancouver Canucks starting Wednesday, October 7 at the Dome.

The three eastern Canadian teams, the Habs, Leafs and Senators all come to Calgary as well starting October 30 with Montreal.

Toronto's in town February 9, while Ottawa pays a visit to the Dome February 27.

And they'll face the L.A. Kings in their annual New Year's Eve game.

The season winds up for the Flames Saturday, April 9th in Minnesota.
