The Okotoks Oilers earned their first preseason win yesterday when the Calgary Canucks paid a visit to the Scott Seaman Sports Rink.

This was their third exhibition in the last two weeks, having last two to the Brooks Bandits.

Both the first and second period were goalless, with Brayden Morrison scoring the first and only goal of the game late in the third.

Oilers goalies Parker Sawka and Ashton Able made 21 saves between them for the shutout.

Okotoks will face off with Brooks one last time in their final preseason game at the Scott Seaman Sports Rink on Saturday at 7pm.
