Expect the economy to be front and center Thursday night when Canada's main federal party leaders gather in Toronto for the first of four televised debates leading up to the election October 19.

For Prime Minister Stephen Harper, this is his fifth time in front of the cameras at a debate.

The Green Party's Elizabeth May is taking part in her second debate, while the NDP's Tom Mulcair and Liberal Leader Justin Trudeau are rookies.

The two hour debate, hosted by Maclean's Magazine, gets going at 6 P.M. MST on C-PAC, Omni, and City-TV stations across the country.

And if you just can't get enough debates, Fox News in the U.S. is carrying the Republican Presidential Candidates debate also.
