Final Four set for Chuckwagons Finals at Grande Prairie Stompede

The final four has now been decided for the chuckwagon finals at the Grande Prairie Stompede.

Four Foothills locals headed up for the first WPCA event of the season.

High River's Jason Glass was heading into Saturday sitting 3rd in the aggregate but wasn't able to qualify for the final four as he finished with a time of 1:21.16 leaving him in 18th on the day and dropping him down to 7th overall. A lot of fans were rooting for Mark Sutherland, originally from Grande Prairie as he put in a 7th place finish on the day leaving him 12th overall, while Dayton came through the finish line in 31st place and 25th in the aggregate.  Jordie Fike, also from the Foothills, placed 24th on day four and ending up in 22nd.

And all eyes will be on Chanse Vigen and the rest of the top four as they head into the final four Dash for Cash on Sunday.

Chanse Vigen also claims the Ralph Vigen Memorial Award for having the best 4-day aggregate.

Rounding out the top four are Kurt Bensmiller, Ray Crouteau Jr., and Ross Knight. 

The Dash for Cash goes Sunday night.
