That fertizlier spill in Vulcan County last week has been cleaned up and no longer poses a threat.

The Province had warned water users along the Little Bow River upstream of Travers Reservoir to shut off their intakes if they drew water from the river after a fertilizer spill dumped some of the chemical in the water.

Alberta Environment and Alberta Health say the samples they have show the water is now safe for human and animal consumption.

They will however continue to test the water quality over the next few days to make sure it stays that way.
