A crash near Aldersyde on highway 2-A Wednesday morning has sent three people to hospital.

It happened around 6:30 a.m. with one of the victims, a male in his 30's being sent to High River Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Adam Loria the Public Education Officer with Alberta Health Services, EMS says two women, one in her 30's, the other in her 40's were both taken by ambulance to Calgary.

"Both were transported to the Foothills Hospital in Calgary. Luckily as well in non-life threatening condition, just with minor traumatic injuries."

Loria says the assessment on site had Paramedics decide to send the two women to Calgary as they were hurt bad enough to require a better equipped trauma centre.

The scene was cleared quickly after a short delay for traffic.

RCMP are investigating, but have yet to release any details from the crash.
