The Okotoks Dawgs lead atop the WMBL's West Division standings was a short one.

A 6-4 loss to Lethbridge Thursday night at home snapped a four game winning streak for the Dawgs and moved them back into a tie for first with the Medicine Hat Mavericks in the division.

The Dawgs got off to a good start in this one with Kellen Marruffo hitting his fifth dinger of the year, a two run shot in the third inning to give the Dawgs an early 2-0 lead.

Josh McIntyre also had a good night at the plate with two hits, one run and an RBI.

On the mound C.J. Lewington went six inning, while only give up four hits, two runs, along with four walks and two strike outs.

Anthony Baldaras came in to pitch two innings, giving up a hit, while striking out four.

Christian Parsons gets the goat horns though, pitching the ninth inning, he came in with the Dawgs up 4-2, but gave up up four runs on three hits, while walking one runner.

The Dawgs have Friday off before hosting the Edmonton Prospects Saturday and then heading to Medicine Hat Mavericks Sunday afternoon.
