The Dawgs would have their 3-game winning streak snapped Friday night as the Giants defeated them 3-0.

The Dawgs could only muster 4 hits while the Dawgs pitching were able to strike out 7 Giants in the loss.

Nash Crowell (Reinhardt University, GA) extends his hitting streak to 3 games going 1 for 4. Brendan Luther (Bellevue University, NE) would go 1 for 4 extending his hitting streak to 10 games. Connor Crowson (University of Montevallo, AL) would also extend his hitting streak against the Giants making it 6-games with a hit, finishing the night 1 for 4.

Brody Forno (Williston State College, ND) would have a short night going 2 innings for the Dawgs allowing no runs on 2 hits while striking out 2. The Dawgs would go to the bullpen frequently handing the ball off to 5 relievers tonight, allowing 3 runs on 7 hits to close the game out for the Dawgs.

The Dawgs wrap up the series with the Giants on Saturday July 29th at Seaman Stadium, with first pitch set for 7:05pm.
