The Okotoks Dawgs notched their fourth win in a row with a 6-1 win over the Weyburn Beavers Thursday night at Seaman Stadium.

Dawgs slugger Brian Sisler went 2-for-3 at the plate scoring three times.

Brendan Hendriks had another good night as he went 2-for-3, scoring once and bringing in two runs.

Dane Tofteland was 3-for-3 at the dish with a double, a triple and he crossed the plate twice.

Tofteland says getting into double digits for hits each night makes life easier for everyone.

"It's huge. I mean when we can get those big hits, say when our pitching not's doing great, but I mean our pitching's been doing great lately, so I mean we've just go the best of both worlds right now, so we're doing a real good job."

Pitcher Trevor Swaney got the start for the home side putting in seven innings of work giving up just one run on seven hits all while striking out three and walking no one.

Jean Acevedo took over for Swaney in the top of eight, pitching just one inning with no runs, or hits while striking out a pair.

Jeremy Newton came in to mop up, pitching the final inning striking out one.

Swaney, gets the credit for his fourth win of the season.

The Dawgs and Beavers wrap up their two game series Friday night starting at 7:05 at Seaman Stadium.
