Emergency crews are on scene at an accident south of High River on Highway 2.

It happened about 1:30 this afternoon on Highway 2 and 554 Avenue south of the regional airport.

Traffic in both directions is affected by lane closures, 

Drivers are urged to use an alternate route, if possible.

Speeds are reduced and drivers should be prepared to stop.

One lane is getting through in both directions.
