Will he or won't he?

That's the question Turner Valley Mayor Barry Crane has to answer, at least when it comes to whether or not he's going to run for the top job again in this October's civic elections.

So far Crane's keeping his cards close to his vest.

"A year is a long ways away but I hope to think we've done a great job and the citizens are happy with what we've done in the last four years and then we'll reassess it when we get there."

In the meantime, the Town of Turner valley will take on one major project in 2021.

The total rebuild of Sunset Boulevard, which will see all the water and sewer pipes replaced.

Crane says this is one they've had on their books for a while now.

"One of the nice things historically about Turner Valley Councils is they've always taken care of the infrastructure for water and sewer. Every term, Council usually does one large project. This council's project has been Sunset Boulevard to look into and we look forward to getting that project completed."

Crane says for now he'll concentrate on the work that needs to get done in 2021 and getting life back to normal with the end of the pandemic in sight.
