Community Hall will continue

Whether it's a reprieve or a new resolve, the Gladys Ridge Hall will continue to operate for another year.

Past Board President Roy Newman says about thirty community members debated the issue this week along with Highwood MLA George Groenevold.

"He said that the province is able to donate up to a hundred and fifty thousand dollars in matchable donations", he says, "we discussed that and if we build it will they come and we don't know if people will use a small hall anymore".

Newman says it's now up to the new board which will now be guided by the new President, Peter Butler.
