Rural landowners can learn more about groundwater protection and coalbed methane at a series of open houses throughout the province.

Alberta Environment's Sherrie-Dawn Annett says they want to put forward some factual information.

"It's a chance for people to ask questions directly of representatives in government, to find out how the process actually works just to clear up any misconceptions that may be out there already and to provide contacts for people in government if they have any questions".

Claresholm hosts a meeting June 27th and they'll be in Nanton the following night.
