It's back for another year!!

What better way to blow off steam than by tossing some stuff around!

Okay, to be honest... there are some great ways to get that anger out. Like controlled deep breathing, lowering expectations and the mindful practice of keeping things in perspective. BUT... Sometimes it's way better to watch something get busted up!

If you remember last year, The Okotoks Optimist Club set up a little thing called Pumpkin Chuckin'!

This was the first big community event for the club, in which residents were invited to the Country Living & Garden Center to launch pumpkins using a catapult and trebuchet.

Sounds pretty sweet hey? Well, it's coming back Oct 17th and they are hoping to make it BIGGER THAN EVER!
I got to chat with the man behind this event, Brad Pond:

So... High River, Airdrie, Cochrane. The Optimist Club is calling you out! Could be a great way to get together and spend some much needed time with your cohorts or family!

If you wanted to take part check out their Facebook page or website! They are also looking for sponsors (wink, wink)
