The CFR "AAA" Midget Bisons meet the Lloydminster Bobcats for the Alberta Midget Hockey League title starting Friday up north.

Bisons Coach Sandy Henry says the Bobcats bring a lot to the table.

"They have a deep line-up for sure. Goaltending's been really solid, they've got a really good set of six defencemen and good depth up front."

Neither team has one stand-out line, or player, instead relying on scoring throughout the line-up, which Henry says is a big key to success in the playoffs.

However the difference in the series could come down to goaltending with the Bobcats getting the edge as their two goalies finished one-two in the league this past season with goals against averages both under two goals a game.

But don't count the Bisons out as their starter Ryan Simpson posted the third best stats over the regular season going 9-and-5 with a 2.28 goals against average.

The best of five series starts Friday and Saturday in Lloydminster before shifting to Strathmore for game three and possibly game four Thursday, March 24 at 7:30 P.M. and Friday, March 25 at 5:15 P.M.

If they need a game five in the series, it'll go Sunday, March 27 back in Lloydminster.
