Census Looking for Staff

Businesses are hard pressed trying to find employees, and that includes Statistics Canada.

Melanie Dixon with Stats-Can says they can't find all the people they need to help complete the census. The increase in populations and labour shortage has put statistics Canada in a need for temporary staff.

She says what they're most in need of is enumerators over the age of 18.

Dixon adds the census provides information for services, transfer payments, and future historical research.
