The Okotoks Bisons snagged game one of their best-of-fiver Heritage Junior "B" Hockey league Championship final 5 - 2 Friday night to the Cochrane Generals.

Alaister Standen got it started early scoring in the first and another in the second period with Adam Kirkpatrick, Jaevon Buschen and Simon Smith-Burness all getting a shot past the Cochrane goalie.

Bisons goaltender Dylan Fries took on 21 shots only letting in a pair from Generals Dagan Kadlec and Tristan Ripplinger.

Game two in the series goes Saturday night at 7:30 at the Murray arena.
