A rough weekend for the High River Flyers in the Heritage Junior "B" Hockey League, as they dropped all three of their games.

They started with a close 2-1 loss to Three Hills at home Friday night.

They followed that up with an 8-5 loss on the road Saturday in Didsbury against the Mountainview Colts, and then dropped a 4-3 overtime heartbreaker to the Airdrie Thunder Sunday back at the Rec-Plex.

The Okotoks Bisons, meanwhile split their games losing 5-1 to the Thunder in Airdrie Friday, but then beat the Ponoka Stampeders 6-1 Sunday at the Murray Arena.

And the Strathmore Wheatland Kings split their games as well winning 5-4 over Stettler Saturday, but losing 4-2 Sunday night at home to the Red Deer Vipers.

And in the Alberta Midget Hockey League, the Foothills CFR "AAA" Midget Bisons picked up three of four points as they tied Gregg Distributors 3-3 Friday and then thumped the Medicine Hat Tigers 4-1 Sunday.
