A few weeks into the Heritage Junior "B" Hockey League season and the Okotoks Bisons find themselves among the league leaders once again.

They'll play the first and worst teams this weekend when they welcome Cochrane to the Murray Arena Friday night and then head to Stettler Saturday.

Bisons G.M. Jay McFarlane says they're excited to be in a first place battle with the Generals.

"We have a game in hand and we're going to be chasing, so those type of games where we meet up with each other are critical to walk away with the points. So having home ice advantage we hope to do that."

The High River Flyers are home to home to Airdrie Friday, while the Strathmore Wheatland Kings are in Medicine Hat to play the Cubs.
