Four local golf courses are getting together on a Saturday in March to hold their annual sale of last year's golf gear.

The event goes at the Highwood Golf Club and includes stuff from Nanton, Turner Valley and the Bridges of Claresholm.

Highwood General Manager Graeme Kreiner says his plan is to have a number of local clubs partner up for more than just sales.

"It's going to be a focus going forward. We want to kind of create this as a hub down in this area. And where that actually will end up is still to be determined. To work with other golf courses and just kind of create this as a destination for people from Calgary or wherever to come play all four, or what might become six or seven courses."

The sale goes from 10 A.M. to 3 P.M. Saturday, March 12.
