Kurt Bensmiller, riding for Versatile Energy Services, won the Strathmore Stampede Chuckwagons yesterday, Monday August 1.

He beat second place Layne MacGillivray by over three seconds after four days of racing.

Chance Vigen placed third with Vern Nolin coming in fourth overall.

It's Bensmiller's first win on the WPCA this season but his fourth time claiming the championship in Strathmore.

He won it all in 2012, 2018 and 2019.

Locally, we were well represented.

Jason Glass finished in 7th, Jordie Fike placed 10th with Dustin Sutherland landing in 13th overall and Mark Sutherland coming in 36th after penalty troubles on day two.
