Southern Alberta RCMP have put out a warning to be on the lookout for groups of people trying to sell gold jewellery and even some electronics.
The RCMP say the suspects are approaching people at gas stations, parking lots or other public places asking for your help.
The suspects offer to sell potential victims fake gold jewellery at really low prices.
They have also offered to trade for some of the fake jewellery for gas.
The backstory that some of the suspects are using is claiming to have lost their bank card or it's broken, and they can't access their accounts.
Suspects have been known to drive newer rental vehicles and have even had children with them.
The incidents happened in the first couple weeks of March from the 2nd to the 14th.
