The Okotoks Bisons head to High River Friday night to take on the Flyers.

The Bisons and Flyers both are going into the game looking to put one in the win collum after losing both their games last weekend.

Bisons Captain Mark McLeod says that the team is working on making sure that they won't take as many small unnecessary penalties and work on building the relationships that they need to be a team.

"We tried to use this week's practices to gain more chemistry with the team because there are allot of new faces in the dressing room this year."

With thirteen returning players, the Bisons welcome eleven new faces onto the team, including four eighteen-year-old rookies.

McLeod says that the exciting thing about the new guys is the new talent and experience they all bring to the team.

"There are a lot of talented guy in the room, and we are hoping to use that young enthusiasm to win the next game."

The Flyers and Bisons faced each other twice in pre-season. Once during the Bisons main camp when they played a split-squad game against the Flyers and the Airdrie Thunder, the Bisons won that game. The second time was two days later when the Bisons camp had ended, and the Bisons beat the Flyers 2-1.

McLeod says that those two games gave them an idea of how the Flyers play and probably vice versa.

"We can use those two games to be familiar with what they are doing and make a game plan around it."

The Flyers and Bisons face off at 8:15 Friday and the Bob Snodgrass Recreation Complex.
