You know the New Year is almost here when all the 2019 countdown lists begin and people start sharing their Spotify Wrapped playlists. Greta Thunberg was named Time's Person of the Year and in what has become my fav thing EVERY Year. Google released its Year In Search 2019!! (side note... you may need a box of kleenex)

So, what were Canadians googling most this year??

As it turns out... a lot of sport! Though I don't personally follow the sports scene, I loved watching the county came together to cheer on the Toronto boys to their first 2019 NBA championship. Seeing MILLIONS of Canadians who wouldn't give tennis a second glance watch Bianca Andreescu receive the Lou Marsh Trophy as Canada's top athlete and become the first Canadian to win a Grand Slam singles title, defeating Serena Williams in the U.S Open final in September. 

For myself, 2019 was a blur and really hard to pin down the top moments of the year. The elections both provincial and federal? The first-ever image of a black hole? I'll sit on it for a bit and come back later...
