Those who are looking for a way to show more love to your four-legged furry friends can look no further as the Foothills Animal Hospital is doing their Christmas pet boxes for the second year in a row.

These boxes offer animal owners a way to get their pets something nice while supporting Heaven Can Wait animal shelter in High River.

Megan Wideman of the Foothills Animal Hospital in Okotoks says they have Cat and Dog boxes that are for sale.

"We have dog boxes and cat boxes, each of them has a minimum price however clients can pay whatever they want to as all the profits go towards Heaven Can Wait."

Wideman says they do their best to support Heaven Can Wait during this time of year.

"Every year we try to something to benefit Heaven Can Wait as the holiday season is always a little bit difficult, in the past, we've done calendars with profits going to Heaven Can Wait and then last year we decided it would be fun to little Christmas gifts."

The animal hospital in Okotoks is a drop-off centre for Heaven Can Wait in High River so any donations that are given to the animal hospital will make its way to the shelter to help support them.

Wideman says they have seen lots of interest from people as they get closer to Christmas.
