One year, 14 plus charities and $1,269,846.95 later and the Century 21 Foothills 12 Months of Giving campaign has come to an end.

What a year it's been!

With the help of the community Blair Gordon, owner of Century 21 Foothills, and his team were able to give back 1.2 million to local charities and organizations.

Gordon says they were overwhelmed by the campaign's final results.

Gordon emphasizes that raising these funds over the last 365 days really was a team effort.

The campaign helped give back to groups such as: Rowan House, Inclusion Foothills, the Foothills Country Hospice and last month's charity of choice, the Salvation Army.

Apparently total numbers were down across the province this Christmas but not here in the Foothills.

A look at how much was raised for each local group this past year.

The original goal was to raise one-million dollars but that was quickly reached after 8 months of the campaign, Blair says they enjoy initiating the "giving back" movement but the goal wouldn't have been met without the support of Foothills residents.

So as you can see, 2021 was a huge success, but that doesn't mean there's a moment of rest for Gordon and the team as they're already in talks about how they are going to raise funds this year!

A huge job well done to Blair and the team and to everyone who gave back in some way, shape or form this year - we couldn't be prouder of our community!

Stay tuned to see how you can contribute to Century 21 Foothills efforts in 2022.
