After the merger of The Dow Chemical Company and DuPont last year, DowDuPont has announced their Agriculture Division will become Corteva Agriscience.

This morning in a release, DowDuPont said, the new company is expected to launch June 1, 2019.

Corteva Agriscience brings together DuPont Crop Protection, DuPont Pioneer, and Dow AgroSciences.

They say, the company will continue to offer products under a number of their most recognized brands.

Chief Operating Officer of the Agriculture Division of DowDuPont, James C. Collins, Jr., said the new company will bring together three businesses with deep connections and dedication to generations of farmers.

"With the most balanced portfolio of products in the industry, nearly a century of agronomic expertise, and an unparalleled innovation engine, we are creating a new agriculture company that will work together with the entire food ecosystem to produce a secure supply of healthy food sustainably and efficiently."

DowDuPont's Materials Science Division will be called Dow, and will continue to use the Dow diamond as it's brand, and the Specialty Products Division will be the new DuPont.
