Seeding is in Full Swing in the Province

As of last week, seeding is about 10 per cent complete in Alberta.

Rail Company Removes Hopper Cars from Network

CN Rail said, they're seeing a decrease in demand for grain orders.

Last week, the rail company reported delivering 4,941 cars across Western Canada, meeting all their orders. This is down from the April weekly average of 6,158 grain cars delivered per week.

CN said, the decrease in gain orders is typical for this time of year, and they're removing hopper cars from the network and placing them in short-term storage.

They added, removing excess cars will improve fluidity for all markets.
