The CFR Chemical Triple 'A' Bisons will look for a pair of home wins this weekend.

After sporting another sweep on the road in Lloydminster and Edmonton last weekend the herd have improved their record to a perfect 6-0.

Bisons Head Coach Sandy Henry says his club learn how to comeback in a game for the first time this season when facing the defending league champion Bobcats.

"That first game in Lloydminster we had to overcome a little bit of adversity, we got down 2-0 on a couple of power play goals in the 2nd," he says. "We had to find to find our identity a little bit, I was really happy with the response. We answered with four quick ones back in the second and then two more in the third."

The Bisons welcome Leduc Oil Kings Friday night followed by a tilt with another North Division foe in the Southside Athletic Club on Saturday.

With four road wins including a 11-2 trouncing of the Athletics last Sunday, Henry says early on there's plenty of comradery on the Bisons coming together.

"You're a tighter group there and it's easier to account for the guys in what they're doing off ice as far as getting ready to play and now they're back and in more of the comfort of their own situation so we'll see how they react to that."

The Bisons faced the Oil Kings two weeks ago in Leduc coming away with a 5-2 win and Henry says they'll have to on their toes with two teams looking to be the first one to beat them this AMHL season.

"I think we're going to have to be better in our own end then we've been forced to be. We've had the puck a lot so far this year and there's going to come a time when those teams are going to push us a bit harder."

The Bisons will be without leading scorer Peyton Krebs as he's representing Team Alberta at the U-16 Challenge Cup in Calgary, Tyson Scott will be an AP with the AJHL's Drumheller Dragons and Kaden Hanas is serving a three game suspension.

Game time for both games are 8 p.m. Friday and 5:15 p.m. Saturday at the Strathmore Family Centre.
