The Holy Trinity Academy Knights will look for their second straight win on the Big Rock Football Conference schedule against a familiar foe Friday night.

The Knights hit the road to face the defending league champion Rundle College Cobras, the team who ended their season a year ago in the playoffs.

Head Coach Matt Hassett says they'll have their work cut out for them.

"They've got a great quarterback in Matteo Spoletini and a couple really good athletes, their runner back is a really good runner with great vision so we have to work hard to contain their best athletes and just run our offence and play fast paced Knights football and  we should be just fine."

The Knights are coming off a convincing 52-6 victory over the Highwood Mustangs at home last week where Hassett says the game was a huge confidence boost for his rookies.

"It was a game where we were able to get everybody in and a lot of the younger guys who haven't seen a lot of playing time got a lot of playing time on the field," he says. "In that respect it was really good for the young guys to get an award for all of their hard work this season."

Rundle College (1-2-1) is ranked fifth in the Tier III rankings while the Knights (1-3) are eighth.

Hassett says it doesn't matter if it's the Cobras or anyone else in the league, the objective remains the same.

"Every week is get better every week regardless of who the opponent is we don't care who we play we just want to play better and better each week and we do that going into playoffs we should be a scary team."

Kick-off is 7 p.m. at Rundle College.
