High school football gets going for a couple of teams around the Foothills this week.

In fact, the Holy Trinity Academy Knights actually kicked off their pre-season Monday in Red Deer against Notre Dame.

No score to report from it though.

The Knights are back at it this Sunday as they're home to L.C.I. out of Lethbridge.

The Highwood Mustangs open their pre-season as well on Sunday as they battle another "Mustangs" team in Pincher Creek.
