Another big win for the Okotoks Oilers last night.

The Oilers, who are second in the AJHL's South Division, hosted the Spruce Grove Saints, who sit at second in the North Division.

Okotoks established dominance early on, with goals from Jack Works and Brayden Morrison.

Spruce Grove answered back in the second with an unassisted goal from Cole Basnett, and again in the third from Forward Nick Leyer.

Try as they might, the Saints couldn't quite keep up, with three more goals from Marc Pasemko, Liam Freeborn and Zane Kindrachuk padding out the Oilers lead nicely.

The 5-2 win puts the Oilers 10 points behind the Brooks Bandits for the top spot in the AJHL's South Division.

They're back at it tonight when the Fort McMurray Oil Barons visit the Centennial Arena.

Puck drops at 7.
